Fishing Monthly Magazine features FishingMad on cover. Sometimes it’s nice to pause for a moment and recognise personal accolades of those who work hard around you. This month were very pleased to see the founder of FishingMad Alan Bonnici feature on the cover of the Fishing Monthly Magazine Victoria and Tasmania September 2018 edition. This was a superb photo taken from a recent fishing session on Moorabool reservoir. A cold and rainy morning where thankfully Alan landed a beautiful large buck brown trout on his second cast of the day. The trout took a Savage gear prey minnow in brown trout colours. Alan it recalss that it was very lucky to land the fish as the leader snapper before the fish was landed. The fished was safely released but not before a couple of quick happy snaps that landed the cover shot. ( Thanks Mark Mosely for the photo )
