In this fishing report, we launch from the Werribee boat ramp during cold but calm conditions. We venture Geelong way straight towards Wedge Spit and drop squid jigs targeting the ever tasty calamari. The fishing was a little slow require several position moves and continually redrifting over patches that were getting strikes. Using a range of squid jigs in different colours we almost hit our bag limit in a few hours fishing. Its a great form of fishing around Melbourne and Geelong.
