FISHINGMAD MEMBERSHIP T&C’s

 

Membership Auto-Renewal Payments ( Subscription Service )

All FishingMad Memberships ( Monthly & Yearly ) are automatically renewed just like other online subscription services. You can check the date of your next automated ( Monthly or Yearly ) renewal by logging into your account and selecting the “My Subscription” tab found under the “My Account” section. Should you wish to cancel your account before your next automated renewal please read the notes below in “Cancellation Request”.

Payments are automated via Stripe. We do NOT keep your banking details on record. You will be automatically billed on a recurring basis either yearly or monthly without notice ( depending on the subscription term which you signed up for ( Monthly or Yearly ). The subscriptions are ongoing and can be canceled at any time via the cancellation policy below. Please note that the charges and benefits are clearly outlined on the member’s signup page to avoid any confusion.

 

Membership Cancellation

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. There are no lock-in terms and your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. If you need to cancel your FishingMad subscription, simply email alan@fishingmad.com.au confirming that you want your subscription canceled and we will take care of the rest. Please confirm the email address that you registered your FishingMad account with and allow 48 hours for this to be processed. We will confirm via reply email once completed. We would greatly appreciate it if you provided some feedback on why you’re canceling so we can continue to develop and improve the service for all members.

Cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your next automated renewal. Refunds will not be issued for cancelation requests after your automated renewal date. You can check the date of your next automated ( Monthly or Yearly ) renewal by logging into your account and selecting the “My Subscription” tab found under the “My Account” section.

 

Membership Refunds

Please note we do not issue membership subscription refunds. You can cancel your subscription at any time via the method above. Cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your next automated renewal. The FishingMad member’s signup page clearly outlines the charges, terms, benefits, and features you get by becoming a member. You also get to decide if you prefer a monthly or yearly subscription. If you cancel your subscription no further payments will be made and you will still be able to access the membership platform until your subscription timeframe formally lapses.

 

Membership Payment issues

If your payment method fails, you will need to update your account with new payment details. To do this log on to the FishingMad member’s area, select the “Payment Methods’ tab, and edit or update your banking details. Your account will be suspended if payments are not made. At this point, you will be able to log in to the member’s area but only have access to limited pages.

 

Subscription Costs? 

As a FishingMad member, you can choose either a monthly or yearly subscription. As stated above all subscriptions are automatically renewed. The current pricing options are as follows

  • Monthly Subscription – $9.50 + GST ( Total – $10.45 automatically paid monthly )
  • Yearly Subscription – $95 + GST ( Total – $104.50 automatically paid yearly )

 

Forgotten your password?

You can easily reset your password by visiting https://fishingmad.com.au/my-account/lost-password and entering the email address or username that you registered your FishingMad members account with. Soon after you will receive an email with the updated password details. Just remember emails like these can sometimes go into your junk or spam folders. If your still having issues then email us at alan@fishingmad.com.au and request your password to be reset and we can do this on your behalf. Just remember email replies are not instant so always try and reset this yourself first.

 

Members Monthly Giveaways

Only active and paid members are eligible for member giveaways. Should you cancel your subscription you can still access the member’s area and content until your pro-rata subscription days finally lapse however you will immediately become ineligible for any giveaways.

Is the membership site safe?

Yes, we take cyber security very seriously. Our team of web developers ensures we are using the latest software revisions, plugins, and security patches. We also have an active Wordfence Premium firewall subscription running in real-time on the website looking for any suspicious activity with included firewall and malware scanning. We keep minimal personal information ( only First Name, Surname, Address, and email address ), to minimize any risk and we do not have access to any of your passwords or banking details. ( Please note address is needed because of GST compliance ).  If you have any concerns don’t hesitate to email us.

 

Members Forum Rules

The FishingMad forum is a place to share, help, encourage, and connect with other FishingMad Members in a private and welcoming setting with like-minded anglers.

Please Note | FishingMad takes no responsibility for communication between members, buy/swap/sell items, or meet-up days between members. This is a communication tool that you use at your own risk. As with all forms of online communication, it is highly recommended being cautious and diligent about sharing personal information and actions with others.

FishingMad takes no responsibility in any meet-up days coordinated by members. If you do so you do at your own risk.

Forum Sales and Advertising

Many members have expressed they want a buy/Swap/Sell feature within the FishingMad Members Forum. We have created a section to accommodate this request. However, FishingMad takes no responsibility for any items bought or sold. If you buy, swap, or sell any items here it is your responsibility to communicate with those parties and to qualify the pricing, delivery, and condition of the item yourself. Otherwise,  we would encourage you to buy gear directly from local stores that we recommend including Melbourne Marine Centre and Hooked on Bait and Tackle.

If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it to alan@fishingmad.com.au and we will remove posts and ban anyone looking to exploit others.

Also, Exploitation of the FM FB page for commercial or financial gain will not be tolerated and any content of this nature will be removed immediately without notice. Continued pursuit to post such content will result in the removal of that member permanently.

PRINTFUL Terms and Conditions ( for FishingMad Merchandise Shop )

Please note the following important details before buying merchandise from the FishingMad online shop.

  • All items purchased are made on-demand, we do NOT store premade stock on hand
  • Times expected to include 10-15 business days for printing/embroidery. 20-25 business days for shipping. This can be significantly faster or slower depending on many variables including stock availability, COVID restrictions, and more
  • Items are sourced and made locally from warehouses in Melbourne and Brisbane. Please note that from time to time depending on stock availability, printing and embroidery requirements, and product type this may be made and shipped from the US.
  • Shipping and Courier of items are typically handled by FedEx and DHL. Tracking updates are sent periodically via email.
  • The items available in our online store have been carefully designed and tested by the FishingMad team. We own all rights to designs and logos.
  • All returns and refunds are handled directly by Printful.
  • If you have any suggestions on additional items, you would like to see available in the online store do let us know by emailing enquiries@fishingmad.com.au

 

Shipping rates are as follows ( please note shipping rates are determined by the integrated courier company ). The rates include individual packing of items in secure and branded packaging. Confirmation of creation and shipping tracking is included as part of the service.

  • Shirts, hats & beanies $9.80 and $1.75 for each additional shirt
  • Hoodies & Jackets $15.40 and $2.80 for each additional hoodie
  • Mugs $12.60 and $5.60 for each additional mug

 

Returns Policy ( directly from distributor Printful )

Claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.

If you notice any issue with the products or the order, please submit a problem report.

The return address is set by default to the Printful facility. When we receive a returned shipment, an automated email notification will be sent to you. Unclaimed returns get donated to charity after 4 weeks. If Printful’s facility isn’t used as the return address, you would become liable for any returned shipments you receive.

 

Wrong Address

If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you. For more info on returns, please read our FAQs.
