Fishing locations Yarra Bend Park is a large natural bushland not far from Melbourne. Known for its grey headed flying foxes which fly out during the evenings. It has parks, BBQ’s, and offers a rage of good swimming, boating and fishing.

ROD SETUP

If your chasing Carp then a 3 – 6 kilo rod with a 4000 size reel is very appropriate. When targeting Trout and Redfin fish as light as possible which will make the experience more fun and improve your chances. Redfin will actively take many baits or lures. To maximize your chances fish with a 2 – 4  or 1 – 3 kilo rod. The main line spooled with 4 pound braid finished with a good quality leader.
