Calm winds clear skies and low tide at 7.00 am. It took 1 minute to catch the first fish a 26cm Bream. The next half hour produced 5 Bream 22cm and 28 cm. Finally the rod bent taking line I landed a 34cm Bream. I caught many Bream around the 26cm mark. I fished under the West Gate. I caught a nice 34cm Bream on a scrub worm. My next catch however was a venomous Blue Ring Octopus. With its Blue rings highlighted I knew it meant business. I often see Anglers and children standing and swimming in the same area. Its a good reminder to always be careful.
