Early season Mornington Pier Snapper Fishing is in full flight. Billy Gunning caught this beautiful 4.2 kilo snapper from Mornington Pier. It was caught using an ezi rig and a full squid head. It’s one of many good snapper we have seen caught land-based this past week in the Mornington Peninsula area. With several landed at Mornington Pier and some further up from Mount Martha rocks. We have also seen catches around Sandnrgham break wall and Port Melbourne which is very pleasing.
