The 17th of September was a horrific day for fishing. With very strong currents, brown murky water due to excessive rain had during the week, howling winds and cold conditions. Alan Bonnici visited a couple of locations which were just unfishable due to the water colour, water flow and debris. He eventually fished Williamstown opting for heavy sinkers to keep the bait in the strike zone. A small but productive session produced several nice size pinkies ( biggest measuring 37cm ) and many small Salmon. The most productive bait was pilchard on a paternoster rig.
