Alan & Mark ventured out over the Australia day long weekend to run in a small boat which has not hit the water in 2 years. At the same time they decided to drop a line and target a good feed of whiting. Using fresh pippis on size 6 long shank hooks with their light fishing rod combos. Anchoring up in 4 meters deep in Corio Bay around a weedy area the guys berleyed up. To their delight the first 30 minutes went crazy catching many good size whiting. Then followed with an avalanche of undersize pinkies and regular flow of both small and legal size whiting. The guys also managed a couple of flathead and banjos. The weather turned quite nasty and the guys packed it in just after mid day ending up with 18 legal size whiting in only few hours fishing.
