Michael Smith took advantage of the light westerly breeze and runout tide and had a soft plastic flicking session on the outer part of the Yarra river. Using purely Bloodworm Zman grubs accompanied with a 1/16 size 4 jig head Michael managed to catch 2 very healthy 34cm Bream and 1 slightly undersized Pinkie. Michael thinks the usage of Procure mullet scent makes a difference so thats a hot tip for those plastics fishing around the Yarra and West gate area.
